Llangadfan

Llangadfan is the home of Cwpan Pinc

15 Miles west of Welshpool on the A458 Llangadfan is the middle one of three villages spread over about 4 miles. Llanerfyl, Llangadfan, and Foel. The Church in Llangadfan is dedicated to St Cadfan who came to the area in the early 6th century and there is a Holy Well bearing his name about 100 yards from the church. This is not to say that the church itself is as old but parts of it date back th the 15th century.

The long distance walk known as Glyndwr's Way passes right through the village. In the past the only stopping point for walkers was the Cann Office Hotel which was not always open for them. Cwpan Pinc is just about 100 yards from Glyndwr's Way. We are ready and happy to serve those long distance walkers needing refreshment.

The A458 passes through the village carrying traffic from the Midlands to the Welsh Coast. About an hour from most of the popular resorts on the coast, Llangadfan is an ideal stopping off point for drivers. Cwpan Pinc has ample parking space and excellent access and has quickly gained support from passing motorists. Many of our first time visitors find us on their way to the coast and call again on their way home to tell us how their holiday went and to enjoy another break.
